The Editorial Staff
Publisher and Editor Amber
Curtis currently spends her days in a cubicle with a view, hating pantyhose (even the word is obscene, she thinks). Most
evenings, she sits hunched over a computer with a cat or two in her lap,
furtively watching South Park reruns. She enjoys naps and books,
loves movies, and hates to clean house. Amber writes little bits of short
stories that she crams into a drawer in her desk. Someday she may unwrinkle
one or two. In the meantime, she will satisfy her creative impulses by
writing late night email messages to her friends.
Poetry Editor Wes Benson has learned to make friends with the necessity of commuting. While he works in Renton, he lives on a small farm in Port Orchard with his wife, Lisa. Wes has an English degree from the University of Washington, and his poems have appeared in Cranky among other journals . He and Lisa have a very friendly, very large dog; an ancient cat; and two new kittens (who need to grow up soon, so they can take care of mole and field mouse issues). If they were more motivated, Wes and Lisa would probably have a goat or two, and maybe some sheep. However.
